Sierra de Jaurez south of Tecate on the way to the head of Canon Tajo. Sue drove her 4WD VW Vanagon Synchro, and took her two dogs. Mark drove his 4WD Toyota pickup. He drove alone. Few people realize that Baja has pinon-juniper forest at the 4000 foot elevation here, and Jeffrey and Coulter pine forest at the 5000+ elevation.
