Click for larger panorama image. Our bus tour took us briefly into Austria, where we stopped for a half-hour at Plansee, a lake in Austria. The road that took us here was actually built by Bavaria. The reason was geography makes the way between Neuschwanstein to Linderhof much more direct by following the shore of the long lake called Plansee. No official border crossing was effected.
