Sherry calls herself the "Sandwich Realtor" because she helps not only her primary client but eventually their children, their parents and other family members as their housing needs change.  Because most of her business comes from referrals, Sherry has become an expert in all areas of San Diego, particularly historic properties.   She has become the realtor of record for such organizations as the San Diego Opera, San Diego Master Chorale, La Jolla Chamber Music Society and League of Women Voters, assisting them with bequest properties and other real estate needs.  Her clients receive a bottle of sherry and a traditional "bloom".  Her volunteer work includes historical societies, Children's Home Society, Alliance for the Mentally Ill, and she is a published LWV researcher on mental illness in San Diego.
