Sadly, no photos of this trip. But this one-day desert hike was sublime. Daniel and I drove to Dos Cabezas, then hiked out toward Indian Hill. I'm guessing we actually saw some evidence of ancient Indian presence in the carving on the rock, but I'm not sure. We then hiked to the ruins of China Camp, the c. 1915 railroad work camp. This is definately a place I will want to return to for its many wonders. And perhaps I'll bring a camera with me.
