August 28, 2004. "Desert Garden" in Balboa Park. Each 4th Saturday at 10:00 am, a docent leads a tour of the garden. I rode my bike to Balboa Park in time to join the tour. The Aloe spinosissima seen here is a plant we have in our own front yard.
