	Dave's 40th birthday party was held in a guest room, beds removed, at the Doubletree Club Hotel in Mission Valley.
	Thanks to Dave's mom for providing lots of food. Thanks mom also for bringing the camera so we all can enjoy these pictures.
	"Happy Birthday" was sung as the candle adorned cake was revealed.
	The younger party-goers especially enjoyed the balloons.
	Dave's many guests included his brother Jeff.
	There's Dave's mom with Jeff's musician buddy, Preston.
	Tim, in top hat, played Appalacian dulcimer to the delight of all. Thanks Tim!
	Noted artist Frank Wu tries his hand at the dulcimer.
	Dave opens presents. These are a 40th Birthday theme. Lots of black, etc.
	As the night wears on, the party begins to get a bit hazy.
	Allison and Frank enjoy party revelry.
	"Come on up, the party is here!"
	Even Cat pays a visit and joins the party!
	Stella stays all night to the end of the party - around 2:00 am!
